While communication between Designity and clients typically happens through email, Designity offers an add-on for custom communication via Slack. Clients must purchase this add-on before Slack communication can begin.
Guidelines for Slack Communication:
Availability: Check Slack messages at the start and end of your workday and throughout the day, similar to how you check emails. You are not expected to be available 24/7.
Documentation: Approvals and deliverables must be documented through email, Miro, the client portal, or similar platforms—not on Slack.
Workspace Setup: Designity will create a dedicated Slack workspace for communication. If you join a client's Slack workspace a Designity client management team member needs to be added. This is due to legal requirements, ensuring Designity retains access to thread history and attachments since older messages can get deleted on Slack.
Asset Sharing: Clients may share assets through Slack if needed. However, you should only share screenshots or references, not final deliverables.
