Goals of a Kick-Off Call and what follows

Updated yesterday

A Kick-Off Call is the first touchpoint with the new client. It's a great way for the CD to set expectations for trial and help the client understand what to expect from Designity's services and the team.

Establishing a positive impression and collaborating on the project's initial outline is crucial. This initial interaction helps both parties to outline the first project, achieve clarity, gather specifics, and subsequently commence work effectively.

Ultimately, the true purpose of the kick-off call is to build trust with the client and to begin showing them that you are the expert that they need to help with their projects.

Once your kickoff call is done, Clients will expect the following from their Creative Director:

  • Invite(s) to your weekly recurring call(s)

  • Project timeline for your first project within 8 business hours of your call.

  • Deliverables! Now the work on the first project begins and you will send your client deliverables based on your project timeline.

Please note, there can be different types of Kick-Off Calls; the first one with a client (discussed here) and calls to kick-off a project. The better the Kick-Off Call, the stronger the project.
