CD Circles: Building Connections and Collaboration

Updated over a week ago

CD Circles are internal hubs designed to help Creative Directors connect, collaborate, and grow in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Each Circle consists of 4-6 Creative Directors with a mix of skills, seniority levels, and specialties. These groups provide a space for social connection, professional brainstorming, sharing best practices, and celebrating successes—while fostering stronger relationships among peers.

CD Circles are thoughtfully composed to ensure a balanced mix of strong Designity skills, diverse specialties, and varied experiences. We also consider factors like tenure at Designity, time zones, and inclusive representation to create well-rounded groups.

Each Circle has a dedicated Slack channel, providing a space for members to ask questions, share ideas, and voice concerns. Circles are also encouraged to set up their own meetings for activities like get-to-know-you coffee chats, new CD welcome calls, virtual co-working sessions, and brainstorming discussions—whatever helps build stronger connections and collaboration! Learn more about topics you can discuss with your CD Circle here.

The goals of CD Circles are to:

  • Enhance community support among CDs

  • Improve information flow and communication

  • Help new CDs build meaningful peer relationships while learning more about our culture and systems

To keep perspectives fresh and connections dynamic, 2-3 members rotate out every three months and are replaced with new members.

Each Circle also has a representative who is a member of the CD Council. Learn more about the CD Council here.
