Projects in AirTable cannot and should not be deleted, as all projects listed originate from client-submitted project requests. Instead, follow these steps:
Cancel a Project:
If a project is no longer needed, update any incomplete task status to Project Cancelled.
This triggers an automation that updates the entire project’s status to Cancelled, making it visible but marked as cancelled. You can then filter it out.
Note: Cancelled projects cannot be reactivated.
Pause a Project:
For temporarily paused projects, update any incomplete task status to Project Paused (not Task Paused).
This triggers an automation that updates the entire project’s status to Paused.
This keeps the project visible and ready to resume when needed.
