What are weekly client reports and how do I make them?

These Monday Looms are a life-saver!

Updated over 7 months ago

Weekly reports are short Loom videos (1–2 minutes), recorded by you, and delivered to clients on Monday mornings between 8am–10am in your own time zone.

Content:

The content of your report should cover tasks that were delivered or worked on in the past week, upcoming tasks next week, and any outstanding questions you have for the client.

Audience:

Your weekly reports should ideally be emailed directly to every stakeholder on the client’s side, so not just your direct point of contact, but their supervisor(s) and any other stakeholders.

Goal:

These reports are meant to unify the client’s various internal teams around the work that Designity is doing. They demonstrate the ROI that Designity is bringing for people who might not otherwise know where their money is going. It alleviates financial anxiety for clients because they have a weekly accounting and it shows that you are an integral part of the client’s team.

Process:

Use your Creative Director Portal to access your timelines, and the Weekly Report dashboard. For more information and a how-to, visit the training library via this link.
