Normally, Creatives are assigned specific tasks, so though they might discuss and share ideas, they are each working on separate tasks. From time to time, however, it’s best for the client’s ROI to have more than one Creative work together on something. A good example is a complex branding project, where you can have a Senior and a Pro both working on concepts early on, in order to explore more options.
To show this on the Airtable timeline, be precise with the naming of tasks. Add tasks as needed, making the start date is correct, the phase assignment is correct, the Creative level and Creative are correctly assigned, and the task duration is correct. Then edit the name of each task to add clarification information.
In the following example, both tasks last for two days, at the same time, and are both assigned to the Ideation phase:
Senior Task: “Brand Direction Concepts (2 Options)”
Pro Task: “Brand Direction Concepts (4 Options)”
In your Loom update to the client, be sure to point out that you have two Creatives working, and that they’ll be presenting separate concepts.
