If a client expresses interest in working with you outside of Designity while you are still with Designity or 3 years after leaving (or as otherwise mentioned in your agreement), it is mandatory to follow these steps:

  1. Notify Leadership:

    • Promptly inform the leadership team about the situation.

    • Ensure the client is made aware that such an arrangement may breach Designity's terms.

  2. Highlight Consequences:

    • Explain to the client that engaging outside the Designity platform could lead to significant legal and financial consequences for both parties.

  3. Discuss Exceptions (if applicable):

    • In certain cases, Designity may consider exceptions if the situation is transparently discussed with management.

    • The leadership team will evaluate the request and may explore alternatives, such as a contract buyout.

  4. Buyout Option:

    • Clients have the option to buy out the Non-Compete Obligations with a one-time payment of $10,000.

By adhering to these steps, you ensure compliance with Designity’s terms and maintain professional boundaries.
